Role Overview
The Payroll & Compliance Executive ensures accurate payroll processing, statutory compliance, and timely submission of statutory returns in alignment with company policies and labour laws. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and a strong understanding of statutory norms.
Key Responsibilities
Manage monthly payroll including attendance, leaves, and settlements.
Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, LWF, Bonus, and Gratuity Acts.
Coordinate with Finance for disbursement, reconciliation, and reporting.
Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely filing of returns.
Prepare payroll MIS and support audits.
Address payroll queries and maintain data confidentiality.
Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of statutory laws (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.).
Experience with payroll software and MS Excel.
Graduate in Commerce(B.Com), HR, or Business Administration.
Certifications in Payroll or Labour Law preferred.
Strong communication and accuracy in execution.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Accurate and timely payroll processing.
Zero compliance penalties or delays.
Employee satisfaction on payroll and benefits.
Accurate documentation and audit readiness.
