Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
Maintain employee payroll data including attendance, leave, and deductions.
Verify and calculate salary components, overtime, incentives, reimbursements, and bonuses.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as
PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Gratuity, and LWF
.
Prepare and file monthly/quarterly statutory returns.
Coordinate with HR and Finance for inputs like new joiners, exits, and variable pay.
Generate payroll MIS reports and support audits as required.
Handle employee queries related to payslips, tax deductions, and other payroll matters.
Stay updated on payroll legislation and tax reforms to ensure compliance.
Support year-end activities including Form 16 generation and tax reconciliation.
Job Requirements:
Strong understanding of payroll processes and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g.,
SAP, Tally, GreytHR, Zoho Payroll, or similar
).
Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, HR, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in payroll processing (experience may vary by organization).
Payroll Compliance, HR Analytics, or SAP HCM.
