: Payroll Executive
1. Overview:
The Payroll Executive will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for the organization. This role aims to maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and uphold the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality in payroll processing.
2. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for all employees in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Review and verify employee time sheets and ensure accurate coding of hours worked.
  • Calculate and manage deductions, taxes, and benefits associated with payroll.
  • Prepare and distribute paychecks and payroll reports, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain payroll records and reports for auditing and compliance purposes.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, paychecks, and tax-related queries.
  • Collaborate with HR to update payroll data in a timely manner, including new hires, terminations, and changes in status.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations in payroll processing.
  • Assist in year-end reporting, including issuance of Form 16 and other necessary documentation.
3. Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems, particularly SAP.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian payroll regulations and statutory deductions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance related to payroll.
4. Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within an Indian context.
  • Certification in payroll management is a plus.
5. Skills & Experience:
  • Expertise in SAP for payroll processing and financial reporting.
  • Solid understanding of Indian Payroll policies, tax regulations, and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with team members and employees.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
