is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements, statutory compliance, and employee queries related to compensation. The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of payroll laws, and strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll for all employees on a monthly basis with accuracy and within deadlines.
Maintain and update payroll records including attendance, leaves, deductions, bonuses, and reimbursements.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements like PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and labor laws.
Coordinate with HR and Finance departments for employee data, benefits, and accounting reconciliations.
Prepare salary slips, tax computation reports, and annual Form 16.
Handle employee queries related to salaries, deductions, tax declarations, and payslips.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of payroll data at all times.
Assist in audits and ensure proper documentation of payroll processes.
Stay updated with changes in labor laws, tax rules, and payroll regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, HR, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in payroll processing.
Knowledge of payroll software (e.g., SAP, ADP, Zoho Payroll, GreytHR, etc.).
Understanding of Indian payroll compliance (PF, ESI, Income Tax, etc.).
Proficiency in MS Excel and other reporting tools.
