Job Opening: Payroll & Compliance Executive

CM Associates Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a young, dynamic, and detail-oriented professional to join our Mohali branch as a Payroll & Compliance Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, statutory compliance, and related HR transactions.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
1. Time Office Management
Manage and update attendance records for all entities across Punjab in a timely manner.
Ensure accurate integration of attendance, leave, and shift data into the payroll system for correct salary calculations.
2. Payroll Management
Process payroll accurately and ensure timely salary disbursement to avoid legal or compliance issues.
Ensure employees receive payslips within the stipulated timelines.
3. Statutory Compliances
Ensure accurate calculation and deduction of statutory components such as PF, ESIC, LWF, and Professional Tax (PT) in compliance with applicable laws.
Prepare and submit statutory challans for PF and ESIC within prescribed deadlines.
4. Incentives, Variable Pay & Allowances (VP/TA/DA)
Accurately calculate and reconcile retention bonuses, incentives, performance pay, TA/DA, mobile allowances, and other benefits as per company policy.
Verify that all TA/DA claims are supported by valid documentation from relevant stakeholders.
Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of incentives and allowances post approval from the Managing Director and aligned with payroll cycles.
5. Systems & Tools
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced expertise in MS Excel (mandatory).
6. Transactional & Support Activities
Address employee queries related to payroll, leaves, and HR policies.
Share reports, employee data, and insights as required by internal stakeholders.
Support new joiner documentation and onboarding formalities, if required.
