To ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, statutory compliance, and related financial reporting, while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees (monthly/weekly as applicable).
Verify attendance, leave, overtime, and other inputs for payroll accuracy.
Calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, incentives, reimbursements, and other earnings.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, Gratuity, LWF, etc.).
Prepare and file statutory returns within deadlines.
Coordinate with HR for new joiners, exits, increments, and employee master data updates.
Resolve employee payroll queries and provide payslips.
Maintain payroll records, MIS reports, and reconciliation of payroll with accounts.
Liaise with auditors and government authorities when required.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
3-6 years of experience in payroll accounting / payroll management.
Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliances.
Proficiency in payroll software (Tally, SAP, Excel, or other HRMS tools).
High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
