JOB DESCRIPTION The TS Billing Operations Manager is expected to learn and be immersed with all the production sub-processes within TS Billing. Job Summary: These productions sub-processes include but are not limited to - Billing Intake (Workflow). Billing Set-up and Maintenance (Critical Entry). Payments applications, Ledger Adjustments, Write-offs, Cancellations and Refunds (Payments). Billing Research and Queries (Research) .Data Feed Management (Interface/Capture). Project and Change Management Job Responsibilities:
Management of a team with the following core responsibilities among others:
Timely and regular Performance reviews
Preparation of Individual scorecards
Supporting Career / Development plan for each employee
Attendance tracking
Manage customers and stakeholders by ensuring production targets are delivered within the Service Level Agreement
Operating Service Agreement are regularly reviewed and certified with the business
Ensuring that all process are being operated within the process charter
Establishing and maintaining \xe2\x80\x9cfit for purpose\xe2\x80\x9d Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) across all functions within responsibility
Help establish a stable internal control to mitigate risks operationally
Close coordination with Technology / Project Management to ensure operational readiness
Deliver \xe2\x80\x9cMetrics That Matter\xe2\x80\x9d with consistent tracking and reporting
Form synergies with all downstream / upstream partners or all functions with direct / indirect impact to Billing
Ensure continuous process improvement by leveraging available technology and User Tools and constant review of process for proper eliminations of non-value adding tasks and/or pursuing standardization opportunities
Handle critical client escalations regarding all Billing related concerns.
Ensure regular preparation and reporting of Business Reviews
Work towards achieving current Billing Ops targets in partnership with the different Operations teams, Regional/LOB partners, functional groups, Risk and/or Technology contacts
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required
3+ years of banking operations and financial service experience
Knowledge of Wholesale Payments and TS Billing is an advantage
Process orientation with ability to understand upstream and downstream implications
Works collaboratively, shares information and effectively communicates with team members, departmental management and partners in Sales, Service and Product
Advanced attention to detail with proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
Proficient organizational and advanced analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
Flexible, quickly adapts to changes in the work environment, and manages competing priorities to achieve the most effective results
Self-motivated & confident decision-maker with the ability to demonstrate leadership, challenging and influencing change where necessary
Proficient ability to identify, remediate, report inconsistencies, redundancies and control issues
Requires strong computer skills, including ability to use mainframe and common PC based software packages including MS Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Must be fluent in verbal, written and conversational English
Results Oriented, Customer focus driven, proactive and a strategic thinker
