Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pattern Master to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in draping, pattern making, and garment fitting, with expertise in high fashion menswear and womenswear. You will play a key role in translating designer concepts into exemplary patterns, ensuring each piece reflects our brand's high standards of craftsmanship and design.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and finalize detailed patterns for both menswear and womenswear, including Indo-Western and Western styles.
Translate designer ideas into accurate and high-quality patterns through draping, flat patterning, and drafting techniques.
Collaborate closely with the design team to understand creative concepts and ensure feasibility and proper fit.
Conduct fittings, make pattern adjustments, and resolve technical issues to achieve the desired silhouette and fit.
Maintain detailed pattern files and ensure all patterns are accurate for production.
Supervise and guide pattern-making team members, if applicable.
Ensure all garments meet quality standards and are suitable for high fashion production.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience working as a Pattern Master in a high fashion or couture environment.
Well-trained in draping, flat patterning, and advanced pattern-making techniques.
Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and fitting for both menswear and womenswear.
Expertise in Indo-Western, Western, and contemporary fashion styles.
Experience working under a fashion designer label or in a similar high-end fashion setting.
Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and technical skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Qualifications:
Prior experience with high fashion or couture brands is preferred.
