Pattern Designer

who can bring stories to life through thoughtful, hand-crafted designs.

Role Overview

The

Pattern Designer

will conceptualize, design, and develop original patterns for wallpapers and surface prints. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of composition, color, and motif development, and the ability to translate traditional and contemporary art influences into commercial design collections.

Key Responsibilities

Create

original repeat patterns

and

surface designs

for wallpaper collections. Develop

mood boards

, color palettes, and design concepts aligned with seasonal and thematic directions. Work closely with the

founder and design team

to evolve design narratives. Digitally refine and prepare artwork files for

production and printing

. Research art styles, trends, and motifs across Indian and global design movements. Maintain an organized digital library of artworks and pattern iterations. Collaborate with vendors, printers, and the production team for sampling and color matching.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Textile Design, Graphic Design, or related field. Proficiency in

Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate

. Strong understanding of

color, scale, and composition

. Experience with

surface pattern repeats

(manual or digital). Interest in

Indian art, craft, and textile traditions

is a plus. Attention to detail and ability to meet timelines.

Nice-to-Have

Knowledge of print processes (digital/rotary/screen). Illustration or painting skills. Prior experience in

home decor, wallpaper, or surface design

industry.
Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
