TheResponsibilitiesoftheInpatient PRE includethefollowing: \xc3\x98 Over all Co-ordination ofactivities onthefloor. \xc3\x98 To Co-ordinate requirementsofpatientsandtheattendantsduringhospital stay withtheNursing,Dietary,HouseKeeping andSecuritystaff. \xc3\x98 Toensurethatpatient\xe2\x80\x99srequirementsatthetimeofadmissionand dischargearemetandthattheirstayinthehospitaliscomfortableandhassle free. \xc3\x98 Toensure smoothconduct ofadmissionanddischarge procedures. \xc3\x98 Tobriefthepatientandtheattendantabouttheservicesandthefacilities availableinthehospital andtheprocedureforfollowupafter discharge. \xc3\x98 Tointeractwithinsurancecelltoensurethatthepatientdoesnot have anyproblemrelatingtoinsurancesettlement. \xc3\x98 TointeractwithIPBillingand clarifyaboutanydoubt regarding billingand alliedrequirements. \xc3\x98 Toensurethatdischargesummaryishandedovertothepatientwhile leaving, if not(exceptinthecase of insurancepatient)to ensurethatthepatientleavesthehospitalwithavalid discharge note. \xc3\x98 Toco-ordinatewithnursingstafftoensure thatallinvestigationsandreportsarehandedovertothepatientsatthetimeof dischargeandobtainanacknowledgementfromthepatient(exceptinMLC cases where documents are senttoMRD). \xc3\x98 Tocoordinateandensurethattheintrahospitaltransferofpatientsis carriedwithoutdelayor discomfort. \xc3\x98 To interact with other Floor Coordinators and carryout proactive measuresto achievezero error inpatientrequirements. \xc3\x98 Tocounsel thepatientandattendantas andwhenrequired. \xc3\x98 To undertakeappropriate and proactiveactiondeemedfittoprotectthe interestsofpatientandhospital. \xc3\x98 Tocoordinateandensuresafetyandsecurityofpatients,attendantsand visitors. \xc3\x98 FollowtheDepartmental Protocols /Procedures \xc3\x98 Tocarryout anyothertask assignedbyhigher authority.
