Greet and assist patients/visitors courteously.
Guide patients through registration, consultation, admission, and discharge processes.
Handle appointment scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling.
Ensure smooth patient flow between departments.
Communication & Coordination
Act as a liaison between patients and doctors/nurses/administrative staff.
Provide clear information on hospital services, procedures, and billing.
Attend and resolve patient queries, complaints, and concerns in a timely manner.
Documentation & Records
Maintain accurate patient records in the hospital information system (HIS).
Ensure proper documentation of admissions, billing, insurance, and discharge.
Handle confidential patient information with discretion.
Billing & Financial Support
Support patients with billing queries and payment processing.
Coordinate with the accounts/insurance team for approvals and claims.
Patient Care & Satisfaction
Conduct regular patient rounds to ensure comfort and satisfaction.
Collect feedback and escalate issues for improvement.
Ensure high standards of hospitality and service excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Healthcare Administration, Hospitality, or related field).
Prior experience in hospital front office / customer service role preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital procedures will be an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving ability.
Computer proficiency (MS Office, Hospital Information Systems).
Ability to work under pressure with patience and empathy.
Professional grooming and pleasant personality.
Work Environment
Based at hospital front desk / reception.
Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per hospital requirements.
