Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Records & Outreach Analysts to join our growing team supporting leading oncologists and cancer experts in the United States. As part of the Outreach team, you will be responsible for contacting healthcare facilities and clinics, capturing clinical insights, reviewing patient records, and ensuring that all relevant information is available to support expert medical decision-making in complex cancer cases. This is a remote, work-from-home opportunity ideal for candidates with a background in oncology, health sciences, medical documentation, or clinical coordination.
Key Responsibilities
:
? Make outbound calls to healthcare facilities, physician offices, and hospitals to request patient medical records.
? Follow up with facilities via phone, fax, and secure email to ensure timely receipt of records.
? Verify provider and patient information before initiating record requests.
? Document all call details, facility responses, and retrieval progress in the internal system. ? Escalate delays or issues to the operations lead promptly.
? Ensure all activities are compliant with HIPAA, privacy regulations, and client protocols.
? Collaborate with the clinical and document processing teams to resolve incomplete or missing information.
? Maintain productivity and quality targets for record retrieval.
Qualifications/ Skill sets Required
:
? Bachelor's degree or diploma in Life Sciences, Nursing, Allied Health, Pharmacy or related field.
? 1 to 2 years of experience as a healthcare-related calling roles such as medical insurance follow-up, billing, patient advocacy, prior authorization, provider office coordinator or care coordinator.
? Excellent verbal communication skills with a professional phone manner.
? Strong data entry and documentation skills.
? Ability to work with sensitive patient data and maintain confidentiality.
? Availability for US night shift (e.g., 6:00 PM-3:00 AM IST or later).
? Problem-solving mindset with a focus on timely resolution.
Preferred:
? Knowledge of medical record formats, ROI processes, and healthcare terminology.
? Familiarity with oncology terminology (chemotherapy regimens, pathology, imaging, staging).
? Experience with HIPAA-compliant workflows or medical record abstraction.
? Prior experience working with US healthcare clients.
