Schedule consultations, diagnostic tests, and follow-up visits.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and departments to avoid delays.
Remind patients about upcoming appointments.
3. Documentation & Records
Collect patient information and maintain accurate medical records.
Ensure all reports, consent forms, and insurance documents are complete.
Update patient files in hospital software systems.
4. Coordination Between Departments
Act as a bridge between patients and departments (lab, radiology, pharmacy, billing).
Ensure patients move smoothly from registration to discharge.
Support doctors and nurses by managing patient flow.
5. Insurance & Billing Support
Assist patients with insurance claims and pre-authorization.
Provide guidance on billing queries and payment procedures.
Coordinate with the accounts department for settlements.
6. Patient Care & Satisfaction
Ensure patient comfort and resolve issues quickly.
Provide clear explanations of treatment procedures.
Follow up with patients after discharge (if required).
