Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Care Manager to join our Pathology & Diagnostics team. The Care Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth coordination of blood tests, guiding them through diagnostic processes, collecting feedback, and maintaining excellent patient relationships. This role is critical in providing a positive patient experience and ensuring the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for patients undergoing blood tests and other diagnostic services.
Coordinate patient appointments, sample collection, and follow-ups.
Provide patients with clear instructions before and after blood tests.
Ensure smooth communication between patients, phlebotomists, and doctors.
Collect and record patient feedback after diagnostic services or home visits.
Address patient queries and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner.
Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and feedback.
Escalate patient complaints/issues to the concerned department when required.
Support operational tasks related to patient care and service quality improvement.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum Bachelor's degree (Preferred: Nursing, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or related field).
Prior experience in healthcare, pathology labs, hospitals, or diagnostics industry will be an added advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathetic, patient-focused, and able to handle sensitive situations.
Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, patient management software, etc.).
