Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone with warmth and professionalism
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments efficiently
Verify insurance details and obtain necessary authorizations
Maintain accurate patient records and update information regularly
Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers
Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues promptly
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards
Collaborate with medical staff to optimize patient care and scheduling
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in healthcare software and Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes
Empathetic, patient-focused approach
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Education & Experience
Prior experience in a healthcare or customer service role is a plus
Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is advantageous
