Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients in-person or over the phone.
Explain treatment plans, procedures, and medication schedules.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their concerns are addressed.
Schedule appointments, follow-ups, diagnostic tests, and surgeries.
Coordinate with multiple departments (lab, radiology, specialists).
Ensure continuity of care across different providers and services
Serve as a point of contact between the patient and healthcare team.
Relay physician instructions to patients.
Communicate updates and changes to care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Verify insurance coverage and handle pre-authorizations.
Assist with billing queries and medical documentation.
