The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) acts as a liaison between patients, families, doctors, and hospital departments to ensure smooth patient flow, high-quality service, and a positive patient experience from admission to discharge.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Coordination & Support
Assist patients and attendants during registration, admission, and discharge
Guide patients through hospital processes, departments, and services
Ensure patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction
Doctor & Department Coordination
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, diagnostics, pharmacy, and billing teams
Schedule appointments, investigations, and procedures
Ensure timely patient movement and reduce waiting time
Patient Experience & Grievance Handling
Address patient queries and complaints courteously
Escalate issues to concerned departments or management when required
Collect and report patient feedback
Documentation & Billing Support
Support admission forms, consent forms, and insurance documentation
Coordinate with billing and TPA/insurance desks
Ensure accuracy of patient records and data entry
Compliance & Quality
Follow hospital policies, NABH standards, and patient confidentiality norms
Maintain hygiene, safety, and infection control protocols
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patient-focused and empathetic approach
Coordination and multitasking abilities
Basic knowledge of hospital operations and billing
Computer proficiency (HIS, MS Office)
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in any discipline (Healthcare background preferred)
1-3 years of experience in hospital front office or patient services
Freshers with good communication skills may be considered
Working Conditions
Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays
Continuous interaction with patients and hospital staff

Pay: ₹11,868.36 - ₹30,171.31 per month
