Key Responsibilities
Make outbound and inbound calls to patients for appointment scheduling and confirmations
Coordinate with providers and clinics to manage appointment calendars
Collect and verify patient demographics, insurance, and referral details
Educate patients on appointment details, preparation, and follow-ups
Handle rescheduling, cancellations, and no-show follow-ups
Maintain accurate records in EHR/Practice Management systems
Adhere to HIPAA and US healthcare compliance standards
Meet daily call volume and quality benchmarks
Required Skills & Qualifications
Excellent verbal communication skills (English)
Basic understanding of US healthcare workflows (RCM exposure preferred)
Experience in patient calling, appointment scheduling, or call center operations
Ability to handle patients professionally and empathetically
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Comfortable working with EHR/EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Athena, etc. - preferred)
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in US healthcare RCM
Prior experience in scheduling, front desk, or patient access roles
Familiarity with time zone coordination (US shifts)
