Job Overview: Lab Technician - Pathology

Nova Institute of Medical Sciences and Medical Research Centre is seeking a

Lab Technician - Pathology

to support

teaching and practical training of medical students

, in addition to routine pathology laboratory functions. The role plays a key part in academic delivery and diagnostic assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist faculty during

Pathology practical classes, demonstrations, and student assessments

Prepare slides, specimens, and materials for hematology and histopathology teaching Support student practical examinations and internal evaluations Handle routine pathology laboratory work with accuracy and quality control Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and teaching inventory Ensure proper documentation and confidentiality of academic and diagnostic records Support departmental academic and research activities

Eligibility Criteria:

DMLT / BMLT

or equivalent (Mandatory) Knowledge of hematology and histopathology procedures preferred

Experience:

0-3 years

of relevant experience Freshers with academic lab exposure and interest in student training may apply
