About the job Qualification: BE/B.SC(Chemistry, Metallurgy, chemical) RESPONSIBILITIES \xc2\xb7 Ownership of key client accounts and sending deliverables to clients for patent application drafting assignments in the fields of Chemistry, Metallurgy, chemical \xc2\xb7 Personally, drafting high-quality patent applications as well as reviewing patent applications drafted by team members \xc2\xb7 Drafting office action responses for USPTO/EPO, preparing FER responses for IPO, and performing and evaluating various types of patent and literature searches including validity searches, prior-art searches, patentability searches, and freedom to operate searches \xc2\xb7 Conducting in-person meetings or telecon with clients to understand technical inventions for carrying out patent drafting assignment QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree (preferable) in the field of Chemistry, Metallurgy, chemical
• Experience in patent application preparation/drafting and prosecution of filed patent applications in the above fields
• Registered to practice before the IPO (Patent Agent in India) is preferred not mandatory
• Adequate understanding of patenting procedures and patent laws of the US, EU, and Indian geographies
• Exposure to patent databases, for example, Orbit, Thomson Innovation
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Must have good technical, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
