Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute an exceptional range of pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods
Lead and manage the pastry team, providing training, guidance, and support
Develop and test new recipes, seasonal menus, and signature items
Maintain consistency in quality, presentation, and taste
Oversee inventory, ingredient sourcing, and cost control
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Collaborate with kitchen and service teams for seamless operations
Supervise equipment maintenance and ensure proper usage
Stay updated with pastry trends and techniques
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef, Pastry Master, or similar role
Formal culinary or pastry education is preferred
Strong portfolio showcasing creativity and technical skills
Expert in a variety of pastries, from viennoiseries to plated desserts
Excellent leadership and time-management abilities
Familiarity with cost control and kitchen budgeting
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
