Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, production, and presentation of desserts, pastries, breads, and baked goods.
Ensure recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards are consistently followed.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the pastry kitchen.
Support the Pastry Chef in day-to-day operations and ensure timely production.
Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory, and minimize wastage.
Contribute ideas for new pastry items and seasonal menu development.
Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality products under pressure.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a bakery/pastry kitchen (Hotels, Restaurants, or QSR preferred).
Basic knowledge of pastry, dessert, and baking techniques.
Passion for learning and growing within the pastry field.
Ability to follow instructions, maintain discipline, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards (FSSAI standards preferred).
Qualification:
Hotel Management Diploma/Degree or equivalent vocational training in Bakery & Patisserie.
Relevant work experience:
Commi I
: 2-4 years of pastry/bakery experience.
Commi II
: 1-2 years of pastry/bakery experience.
