We are seeking an experienced pastry chef/ baker with at least 6 months of work experience. You will be responsible for baking sponges, making frostings, pastries, building cakes, keeping stock of ingredients amongst other duties. It will be an 9 hour shift beginning at 9 am. You will be taught Classical French techniques and will get to experiment and curate recipes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Baking sponges, making mousse/ ganache/ buttercream and frosting cakes
Making other pastry items
Keeping the work stations spin and span. Maintaining very high food safety standards at all times
Keeping stock of ingredients and informing when new supplies are needed
Testing new recipes
Training and communicating with kitchen helpers or any new staff as and when required

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
