to join our bakery production unit in Ernakulam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the production of all pastries, cakes, and sweets, ensuring high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and production of all pastries, cakes, and sweets in the baking unit.
Develop new and innovative pastry and dessert items in line with current trends.
Maintain consistency in quality, portion control, and presentation.
Ensure proper hygiene and safety standards are followed in the production area.
Manage inventory of ingredients and materials; ensure timely procurement and cost control.
Coordinate with the bakery unit manager and other team members for smooth production and delivery.
Train and supervise junior staff or assistants as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
Minimum
4 years of experience
as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, cake decoration, and sweet production.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Creativity and passion for baking and presentation.
Willingness to
relocate to Ernakulam
