A Pastry Chef is responsible for preparing and presenting a wide range of pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods as per established recipes and quality standards. The role includes daily production of cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation, and ensuring proper portion control.
Responsibilities also include managing mise-en-place, monitoring ingredient quality, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards (FSSAI), and ensuring proper storage of raw materials and finished products. The Pastry Chef supports menu development, controls wastage, maintains bakery equipment, and coordinates with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations while meeting service requirements.
