Responsibilities

Assist pastry chefs in preparing and baking pastries, cakes, and desserts Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes Decorate pastries and desserts with precision and creativity Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen Operate and clean kitchen equipment safely Monitor inventory and report shortages to the chef Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Assist with plating and presentation of desserts Help with receiving and storing pastry supplies Support the team during busy service periods
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen is a plus Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately Strong attention to detail and creativity Good organizational and time management skills Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items Team player with a positive attitude Willingness to learn and take direction
