Experience:

Minimum 10 years + in the seismic industry, with prior leadership experience preferred

Key Responsibilities / KRAs:

Lead and coordinate all field operations related to seismic data acquisition Supervise and manage field crews, including observers, surveyors, and support staff Ensure efficient deployment, operation, and maintenance of seismic equipment (e.g., Sercel, Innova) Oversee daily data acquisition activities, ensuring data quality and adherence to project timelines Liaise with client representatives and project managers to align field activities with project objectives Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols across all field operations Monitor and analyze data quality through QC reports; initiate corrective actions as required Plan and allocate daily tasks, manage manpower, and ensure availability of operational resources Prepare and submit daily progress reports, equipment logs, and incident reports Troubleshoot technical issues in the field and escalate critical problems to senior technical teams Facilitate on-site training and mentorship of field personnel to ensure competency and performance Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely mobilization and demobilization of field units Maintain communication with the base office regarding project status, needs, and concerns
