Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Product Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that enhance the understanding of our products among employees and clients. This role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, design, and manufacturing processes, along with excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex information.

Duties

Develop comprehensive training materials and programs focused on product features, functionalities, and applications. Conduct engaging training sessions using various methods including presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and workshops. Collaborate with engineering teams to understand product specifications and ensure accurate training content. Utilize tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, and CAD for creating visual aids that enhance learning experiences. Perform root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement in training delivery or product understanding. Schedule training sessions effectively while accommodating various team schedules and project timelines. Provide ongoing support and resources to trainees post-training to reinforce learning. Stay updated on industry standards including ASME codes & standards, GD&T, and advancements in quantum engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical design and system design. Proficiency in using software such as MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, CNC programming, and FEA tools. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and Arduino systems is a plus. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings. Excellent project scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Previous experience in a training role or similar position is highly desirable.
