Job Summary

Aasraa Trust is looking for

dedicated and passionate Part-Time Teachers

to teach

senior classes (5th to 12th)

at a Government School in Govindgarh, Dehradun. The role involves delivering subject-specific instruction while supporting students' academic growth in a structured and nurturing environment.

Subjects Required

Chemistry Teacher (Senior Classes)

Economics & Accounts Teacher (Senior Classes)

Key Responsibilities

Teach assigned subject(s) to students from

Classes 11th to 12th

Prepare lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum Explain concepts in a simple, student-friendly manner Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and class participation Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment Coordinate with Aasraa Trust and school staff as required Support students with academic doubts and learning challenges

Summer Schedule:

Class Timing:

2:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Winter Schedule

Class Timing:

3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Chemistry / Economics / Commerce / Accounts

or related field Teaching experience (school or coaching experience preferred) Good subject knowledge and communication skills Ability to work with children from diverse and underprivileged backgrounds Commitment to education and social impact
Preferred Skills

Prior experience teaching senior secondary students Patience, empathy, and strong classroom management skills Ability to simplify complex concepts
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹6,500.00 - ₹7,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No more than 10 per week
