We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Software Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software applications and technical support, with the ability to effectively teach and guide users through various software systems. This role involves developing training materials, conducting training sessions, and providing ongoing support to ensure users are proficient in utilizing our software solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging training sessions for diverse audiences on various software applications, including EMR systems, AWS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Create comprehensive training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources using tools such as Adobe Captivate and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for software-related issues to enhance user experience.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure effective integration of software solutions within the organization's infrastructure.
Conduct needs analysis to identify training gaps and tailor programs accordingly.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in software technology.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and feedback from trainees.
Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track training progress and outcomes.
Requirements
Proven experience in teaching or training roles, preferably in a technical environment.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Workspace, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Familiarity with computer networking concepts, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and programming languages such as Java and HTML.
Experience with software troubleshooting and help desk support is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Classroom experience or previous roles in training & development is a plus.
