Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fitness and health, with expertise in physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics. As a Trainer, you will be responsible for designing effective training programs, coaching individuals and groups, and promoting overall wellness within our health club environment. Your role will be pivotal in helping clients achieve their fitness goals while fostering a positive and motivating atmosphere.

Duties

Develop personalized training programs tailored to individual client needs and fitness levels. Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions as well as group fitness classes. Utilize knowledge of physiology and anatomy to educate clients on proper exercise techniques and body mechanics. Provide ongoing support, motivation, and accountability to clients throughout their fitness journey. Assist in the sales process by promoting training services and health club memberships. Teach physical education principles to clients, ensuring they understand the importance of fitness in overall health. Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, techniques, and research to continually enhance program offerings. Collaborate with other trainers and staff to create a cohesive training environment.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics is essential. Experience in program design for various fitness levels. Background in sports coaching or personal training preferred. Familiarity with group fitness instruction is a plus. Previous experience in fitness sales or health club operations is beneficial. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Certification from a recognized fitness organization is required.
