Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled
Azure Virtual Desktop Administrator
to manage, monitor, and optimize our
Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
environment. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security of virtual desktops while providing timely technical support to users.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain
Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure
, host pools, and session hosts.
Manage
user access, profiles, and permissions
through Azure AD and Intune.
Monitor system performance, perform regular updates, and troubleshoot AVD-related issues.
Implement and maintain
security policies, backups, and cost optimization
strategies.
Coordinate with IT and support teams for user onboarding and issue resolution.
Prepare basic reports on usage, uptime, and performance metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience with
Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
setup and administration.
Strong understanding of
Azure AD, Intune, PowerShell scripting
, and Windows 10/11 multi-session management.
Knowledge of
networking, VPNs, and remote desktop protocols (RDP)
.
Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-140) preferred.
Based in
Kolkata
and available for part-time/remote support as required.
