Minutes to Seconds is looking for a part-time Accountant with Admin skills and knowledge of Australian accounting in a Contract role in India. Its a 100% remote, WFH opportunity.
Requirements
We are looking for a proactive Part-Time Accountant with administrative skills to support our Australian operations from India.
This role requires working in the early morning hours to align with Australian time zones.
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Australian accounting rules and hands-on experience with tools such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial transactions.
Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
Prepare and assist with BAS, GST, and payroll compliance.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Generate financial reports and share with the Australian team.
Administration
Manage emails, scheduling, and coordination with the Australian team.
Prepare invoices, reports, and maintain documentation.
Assist in vendor and client communications as needed.
Provide general administrative support to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably with Australian clients/companies.
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting rules and compliance (BAS, GST, payroll, superannuation).
Hands-on experience with Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other office tools.
Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Ability to balance accounting and administrative responsibilities.
Must be willing to work early morning hours (to align with Australian business hours).
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working with Australian businesses.
Knowledge of consulting/staffing industry accounting.
Familiarity with remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, Slack, etc.).
