Designs India is looking for a detail oriented and reliable Part Time Accountant to support our financial operations on a limited working schedule. This role is ideal for a professional who can manage core accounting responsibilities efficiently within 2 to 3 working days per week while ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day to day accounting transactions including billing, invoicing, payments, and receipts.
Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally or similar accounting software.
Prepare and review profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and basic financial reports.
Handle GST filing, TDS calculations, and statutory compliances.
Process payroll, reimbursements, and contractor or vendor payments.
Maintain vendor and client account reconciliations.
Assist in budget planning and project cost tracking.
Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and CA for filings and reporting.
Provide timely and accurate financial data to management as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
3 to 4 years of hands on accounting experience, preferably in a service or project based industry.
Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and core accounting principles.
Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage responsibilities independently within limited working days and meet deadlines consistently.
