Job Description

Maintaing automotive parts inventory for the vehicle maintenance division on line Reviews inventory records for accuracy and to ensure stock control relative to the maintenanceof minimum and maximum parts and supplies in stock Ensures the maintanenece of parts, supplies and material records by each maintenance units suchas the number of items requistioned, items ordered and delivered Ensures the contact of vendors to locate parts, materials and supplies, oversees the placement of orders and conducts necessary folowup to ensure delivery of parts within required time period Prepares a monthly stock, sales and receipts report Provides assistance in the preparations of the annual budget for parts supplies and materials Monitores warranty information and tracks warranties on parts purchased for part performanceand part failure statistics Ensures the purging of absolute or slow moving parts from inventory based on estabilished criteriaPerformes other related duties as required by the Parts Manager
