Duties and Responsibilitiesa. To develop restaurant sales by setting high standards of serviceb. To ensure complete preparation of restaurant/ room service is in place before the area opens for operationc. To take the guest's order correctly and with appropriate courtesyd. To assist the guest in choosing the best items on the menu, thereby increasing sales, by upselling and suggestive sellinge. To handle all guests without bias or prejudicef. To write out guest cheques and ensure their proper processing by presenting them to guests and encashing the sameg. To assist the captain in preparing the general stores requisitionh. To carry out any duties assigned by the Captain/ Manageri. To follow the house rules and policies laid down by the managementj. To adhere to strict grooming and hygiene standardsk. To consciously and continuously strive to better his/ her skills and increase his/ her knowledgeIn addition to the duties mentioned above and job functions, any other assignment is given occasionally or daily by the immediate superior or the management.JOB REQUIREMENTS
