The Part Process Operator is responsible for processing, fabricating, and preparing metal and non-metal parts used in commercial kitchen equipment. The role involves operating machinery, following technical drawings, and ensuring components meet quality and safety standards before assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machines such as cutting, bending, punching, shearing, grinding, and drilling as per job requirements.
Process stainless steel, mild steel, and other materials used in kitchen equipment manufacturing.
Read and understand job cards, drawings, and production instructions.
Measure and inspect parts to ensure accuracy, dimensions, and quality standards.
Perform deburring, finishing, and surface preparation of parts.
Maintain production records and report any defects or machine issues to the supervisor.
Follow safety guidelines and proper use of PPE at all times.
Coordinate with fabrication, welding, and assembly teams for smooth workflow.
Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of machines and work area.
Skills & Requirements:
Basic knowledge of fabrication processes and shop-floor machines.
Ability to read simple drawings and use measuring instruments (vernier, scale, caliper).
Experience working with SS 304 / SS 316 materials preferred.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Willingness to work in shifts if required.
