Park Attendant

We're seeking a reliable and personable Park Attendant to help maintain our public park spaces and ensure visitors have a safe, enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain park cleanliness by emptying trash receptacles, cleaning restrooms, and picking up litter Inspect playground equipment, picnic areas, and facilities to ensure safety and proper working condition Greet visitors, answer questions about park amenities and rules, and provide directions or information Monitor park activities to ensure compliance with regulations and help resolve minor conflicts Assist with opening and closing procedures, including unlocking gates and securing facilities Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly to supervisors

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in grounds maintenance, customer service, or related field preferred Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and walking extensively Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Strong communication skills and friendly, helpful demeanor Basic knowledge of parks and recreation practices helpful CPR/First Aid certification a plus

Schedule and Compensation

Full-time position with weekend and holiday availability required May include early morning or evening shifts depending on park hours Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
