JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Title: Parent Relationship Officer Location: Jubilee Hills - Road no 31, Hyderabad Position Type: Full-time, 6 Days in a week (2nd and 4th Saturday off) Experience: 2-4 years Salary: 35k to 60k per month Overview: At Nirah Early Years, children embark on a journey where joy and learning pave the way to independence, and curiosity isn\'t just encouraged, It\'s celebrated. : As a Parent Relationship Officer, you will play a vital role in fostering positive relationships between the school and the parents/guardians of our Kids. You will serve as a liaison between parents and the school administration, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to support the educational journey of our Kids. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Responsibilities:
  • Parent Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, maintaining regular communication to keep them informed about their child\'s progress, activities, and events at the preschool.
  • Orientation and Onboarding: Welcome new parents to the preschool community, providing them with information about our programs, policies, and procedures. Conduct orientation sessions and tours to familiarize parents with our facilities and resources.
  • Parent Education: Provide resources and support to parents on topics related to early childhood development, parenting strategies, and school-home collaboration. Organize workshops, seminars, and informational sessions to empower parents and enhance their understanding of their child\'s growth and development.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from parents through surveys, meetings, and informal conversations to assess satisfaction levels, identify areas for improvement, and address concerns or suggestions.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve conflicts or issues that may arise between parents, students, and school staff professionally and diplomatically, ensuring the best interest of the students and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Events Coordination: Organize and coordinate parent engagement events, such as parent-teacher conferences and social gatherings. Collaborate with the school leadership team and teachers to plan meaningful and enriching experiences for parents and families.
  • Community Outreach: Represent the preschool at community events, fairs, and networking opportunities to promote our programs and build positive relationships with local families and organizations.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of parent communication, feedback, and participation in school events. Keep detailed documentation of parent inquiries, concerns, and resolutions for reference and reporting purposes.
  • Collaboration with Staff: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure alignment between home and school environments. Collaborate on strategies to support children\'s social-emotional development, behavior management, and academic progress.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about best practices in parent engagement, early childhood education, and family support services. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills relevant to the role.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or B. Ed or Bachelor\'s degree in education, child development, psychology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2-4 years) in a similar role within an educational institution or related industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build rapport with diverse groups of parents/guardians.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities, with a diplomatic and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of educational principles, child development, and school administration practices.
