Manage media relations, including drafting press releases, organising press conferences, and responding to media enquiries. Organise community outreach programmes and events to promote organisational initiatives. Maintain positive relationships with local media outlets, community groups, and other stakeholders. Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on public perception and outreach effectiveness. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels. Represent the organisation at public events, conferences, and community activities. Utilise social media platforms to engage with the public and promote organisational activities effectively.

Experience

Proven experience in public relations, communications, or a related field is preferred. Experience working with children or in youth engagement programmes is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in British English. Ability to build rapport with diverse audiences and handle sensitive situations professionally. Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
