Key Responsibilities
1. Core Legal Knowledge
Support the corporate legal team in matters under the
Indian Contract Act
,
Companies Act
,
Arbitration Act
, and related corporate laws.
Understand and apply
FEMA
and
RBI guidelines
for cross-border transactions and corporate compliance.
Ensure all legal documentation adheres to statutory and internal governance requirements.
2. Research & Drafting Skills
(Most Critical Area)
Conduct
legal research
using online databases and government portals on corporate and regulatory issues.
Draft, review, and proofread
contracts, MOUs, NDAs, notices, and legal correspondence
.
Prepare
legal summaries, contract abstracts, and case briefs
for internal use.
3. Documentation & Filing
Manage
ROC filings, secretarial documents, stamp duty, and notarization
processes in coordination with the company secretary team.
Handle
KYC documentation, vendor contracts, and compliance submissions
.
Maintain organized
digital and physical records
of agreements, approvals, and legal opinions.
4. Compliance & Coordination
Assist in ensuring compliance with
FEMA, RBI, and other corporate regulatory frameworks
.
Coordinate with internal departments (finance, HR, procurement) for contract inputs and execution.
Liaise with external counsels, consultants, and government authorities when required.
5. Analytical & Communication Skills
Review agreements to
identify legal risks, inconsistencies, or deviations
from company policies.
Provide
clear and concise legal analysis
to internal stakeholders.
Strong command of written and verbal
English communication
.
6. Technical & Soft Skills
Proficiency in
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
and document formatting.
Familiarity with
contract management or legal software
(preferred).
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
High degree of
confidentiality, integrity, and professional ethics

Ideal Candidate Profile
LL.B. graduate
with 1-3 years of experience in a
corporate legal team, law firm, or as a Junior Advocate
with exposure to corporate matters.
Hands-on experience in
contract drafting, corporate compliance, and regulatory documentation
.
Strong research and analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
