The Pantry Worker plays a vital role in supporting the culinary team by ensuring that all food items are prepared, organized, and stored according to safety and quality standards. Duties
Assist in menu planning and preparation of food items for service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry and kitchen areas.
Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed to maintain food safety standards.
Support culinary staff by preparing ingredients, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
Help with inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying supervisors of low supplies.
Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
Participate in maintaining a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health regulations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or culinary settings is preferred.
Knowledge of fine dining standards and practices is a plus.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
