The Pantry Boy is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the pantry area, preparing and serving beverages or snacks to staff and visitors, and ensuring that pantry supplies are well-stocked. The role helps ensure smooth day-to-day pantry operations and supports office hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and other refreshments to employees and guests as required.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pantry, dining area, and related facilities.
Ensure utensils, crockery, and cutlery are cleaned, dried, and properly stored.
Monitor and restock pantry supplies such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk, water, and snacks.
Assist in setting up refreshments or meals for meetings, conferences, and events.
Manage waste disposal and maintain hygiene standards in compliance with safety regulations.
Coordinate with the admin or housekeeping team for replenishment and maintenance needs.
Support other minor office tasks, such as running small errands within the premises if required.
Qualifications
Minimum education: High school (10th or 12th pass).
Prior experience in pantry, housekeeping, or hospitality roles preferred.
Basic understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness practices.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Punctual, reliable, and well-groomed.
