Certificate / Diploma in Panchakarma Technician course from a recognized Ayurvedic institution
Basic understanding of Ayurveda principles and Panchakarma procedures
Prior experience preferred (fresher with internship exposure may be considered)
Experience:
1-5 years (experience in hospital or Ayurvedic wellness center desirable)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Therapy Execution
Assist Ayurvedic physicians in preparing and conducting
Panchakarma therapies
such as:
Abhyanga (therapeutic massage)
Swedana (sudation therapy)
Basti (medicated enema)
Vamana, Virechana (therapeutic emesis & purgation)
Nasya, Shirodhara, Pinda Sweda, etc.
Ensure proper procedure, hygiene, and comfort of the patient
2. Material Preparation & Management
Prepare oils, decoctions, powders, and other therapy materials as prescribed
Maintain cleanliness of therapy room and instruments
Follow sterilization and disposal protocols
3. Patient Care & Communication
Guide patients before, during, and after therapy
Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and comfort throughout the procedures
Report any complications or discomfort to the physician promptly
4. Record Keeping & Documentation
Maintain therapy records, materials usage, and stock levels
Assist in documenting patient response and feedback
Working Hours:
Rotational shifts or fixed hours depending on department requirement
Remuneration:
As per institutional norms and experience
Desirable Skills:
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Physically fit to perform therapies and lift equipment
Knowledge of basic Ayurveda principles
Sincere, disciplined, and patient-centric approach
