Commis Chef from Pan Asian required for pre opening restaurant.
Commis Chef responsibilities including but not limited to
Preparing food
: Following recipes to prepare food that meets quality standards
Cleaning
: Keeping the kitchen clean and sanitary, including washing and drying equipment
Food safety
: Maintaining food safety logs, disposing of expired food, and ensuring food is served at the correct temperature
Assisting chefs
: Helping other chefs with their duties and learning from them
Communication
: Communicating with other kitchen staff to ensure everyone follows proper procedures
Inventory
: Taking inventory of supplies and notifying management when stock is low
Organization
: Keeping work areas tidy and organized
Education
: Educating and guiding junior chefs
Reference materials
: Reading and referring to cooking reference materials
Commis Chefs may also help clean the kitchen before and after opening hours, including disinfecting grills, countertops, and ventilation systems.
