The Pan Asian Chef de Partie (CDP) is a mid-level culinary professional specializing in the preparation and presentation of Pan Asian cuisine, including but not limited to Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese dishes. This role requires strong knowledge of Pan Asian flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques, as well as leadership skills to oversee and train junior kitchen staff. The CDP ensures the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene, while contributing to the menu's creativity and maintaining efficient kitchen operations.

Prepare and cook Pan Asian dishes as per menu specifications.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
Develop new recipes and innovate menu offerings under the guidance of senior chefs.
Kitchen Operations:
Manage and oversee your section (e.g., wok, sushi, dim sum, grill).
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely requisition of ingredients.
Hygiene & Safety:
Maintain the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP or equivalent).
Team Collaboration:
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Pan Asian cooking techniques.
Collaborate with other sections to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular taste tests and quality checks.
Handle guest feedback and make improvements where necessary.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 2 years specializing in Pan Asian cuisine.
Education:
Culinary diploma or equivalent certification in cooking and food preparation.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in handling Pan Asian ingredients, techniques, and tools (e.g., wok cooking, sushi rolling, dim sum preparation).
Strong knowledge of flavor profiles and traditional Pan Asian cooking methods.
Excellent knife skills and time management.
