We are looking for a passionate and hardworking

Commis Chef

with experience or keen interest in

Pan Asian cuisine

(Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Malaysian, etc.). The role involves assisting in food prep, maintaining hygiene, and supporting senior chefs during event-based or bulk service operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in the preparation of dishes from Chinese, Thai, and other Pan Asian menus. Perform mise-en-place, chopping, marinating, and basic cooking. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen. Follow instructions from CDP / Sous Chef and work efficiently in a team. Assist during live stations or plated events, as required. Support packing, plating, and dispatch for catering orders.

Requirements:



1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen (Pan Asian experience preferred). Basic understanding of Asian ingredients, sauces, and cooking techniques. Ability to work under pressure during high-volume events. Must be punctual, disciplined, and a team player. Familiarity with kitchen safety and hygiene standards.
