Job Description

Key responsibilities :

Supervise and lead:

Manage daily operations of the painting crew, assign tasks, and ensure the team adheres to all work procedures and safety regulations.

Quality assurance:

Inspect surfaces for proper preparation and the final painted product to ensure it meets all quality specifications and client requirements.

Safety compliance:

Enforce safety protocols, ensure proper use of safety gear, and maintain a safe working environment for the painting team.

Production and scheduling:

Coordinate painting schedules to meet production deadlines and work with other departments to ensure a smooth workflow.

Material management:

Monitor the use of paint and other materials, manage inventory, and ensure timely ordering of necessary supplies and equipment.

Training and development:

Train new employees and provide ongoing guidance to the existing team, ensuring they are up-to-date on new techniques and safety procedures.

Communication and reporting:

Communicate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding project status, issues, and completed work. Maintain records of work progress and material usage.

Experience:

Proven experience in painting supervision or a related role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting, with a strong knowledge of painting processes for structural steel.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
