to join our BMW Body Shop team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in car painting, surface preparation, and color matching to deliver high-quality finish work that meets BMW standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform body surface preparation including sanding, masking, and priming.
Mix, match, and apply paint using spray guns and other tools.
Ensure smooth and even paint application as per manufacturer's specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the paint booth and work area.
Perform polishing and finishing work to achieve showroom-quality results.
Inspect painted surfaces for quality assurance and correct any defects.
Work closely with body shop advisors and technicians to ensure timely job completion.
Requirements:
Minimum
2 years of experience
as a car painter in a reputed automobile workshop or body shop.
Knowledge of
modern paint systems
(e.g., water-based, metallic, and pearl finishes).
Ability to match colors accurately.
Familiarity with BMW standards or premium car brands will be an added advantage.
Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
Education:
ITI / Diploma in Automotive Painting or related trade preferred.
