The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, and a keen understanding of automated painting processes, robots, ovens, booths, and conveyor systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on paintshop equipment.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults in paint booths, robots, ovens, pumps, and conveyors.Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and minimize equipment downtime.
Maintain and repair automated painting robots and control systems (e.g., ABB, Siemens, Allen Bradley).
Ensure all equipment complies with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reportsCollaborate with production and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in installation and commissioning of new paintshop equipment.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.Follow 5S, TPM, and lean manufacturing practices in day-to-day operations.
Qualifications and Skills:Required:
Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
2-5 years of experience in maintenance of paintshop or similar industrial equipment.
Strong understanding of PLCs, sensors, actuators, and control panels.
Experience with high-volume paint systems and spray booth operations.
Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Preferred:
Experience with automotive or industrial paintshop systems.
Familiarity with robotic paint applications and programming.
Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Basic computer skills and CMMS software knowledge.
